Our Ground Beef comes from 100% pasture-raised Dexter cattle born and raised right here at Luna Mesa Ranch in Southern Colorado.
Dexters are a heritage breed known for rich flavor, fine texture, and exceptional tenderness — and you can taste the difference in every pound.

We finish our cattle slowly on open pasture with orchard grass & alfalfa hay, never rushed, never confined. The result is ground beef that is deeply beefy, naturally juicy, and clean-tasting — the way beef used to be.

This is true whole-animal ground beef, made from a balanced blend of premium cuts from the entire steer — not just trim. That means:
